Regardless of whether you like them or not, they are a great full body, cross-training movement that can be incorporated into almost any workout. How do you incorporate them into a workout you ask? First, here is how you do a burpee…
And now the workouts. All you need is a pair of running shoe and the will to endure. Enjoy!
Workout #1- total of 1 mile of running
200 meter run
21 burpees
200 meter run
18 burpees
200 meter run
15 burpees
200 meter run
12 burpees
200 meter run
9 burpees
200 meter run
6 burpees
200 meter run
3 burpees
200 meter run
Workout #2- total of 2.5 miles of running
1600 meter run
20 burpees
1200 meter run
40 burpees
800 meter run
40 burpees
400 meter run
20 burpees
Workout #3
10 rounds for time- 1 minute of work/1 minute of rest
100 meter sprint
max effort burpees (do as many burpees as possible in the remainder of the minute)
